Break up matzos and soak in warm water until soft; drain well and put in large bowl. Saute onions in oil until nice and brown. Add the matzah and mix well. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 9x9 inch pan. Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for one hour or until brown. Remove from pan onto paper towel. Place on serving dish. Could be served with meat or dairy, if you use a parve pan. Serves 8 to 10 people.

Saute onion in oil, until nice and brown. Add the mushrooms and continue cooking until the mushrooms are done. Remove from heat. Place all ingredients in food processor and pulsate until consistancy of chopped liver. Season to taste; let set in refrigerator overnight. Delicious on matzah.
